To be honest: I started this blog because I knew it would help me not give up. I burned too many loaves and ruined too many batches of dough, I quit! Is what I imagined I’d say, as I angrily dusted the flour off my hands for the last time. But if I started a blog, and acquired droves of loyal followers hanging on my every attempt, it would help to keep me motivated.
That, and I spilled a beer on my first loaf of bread while it was (not) rising, and I realized that this was going to be too ridiculous to keep to myself.
